My stay was comfortable and the staff were very courteous.

Breakfast service was good. Rooms are spacious. Staff was very attentive.

Breakfast service starts too late at 7.30am which either delays our tour or go without breakfast. The rooms lack electric outlets to charge phones and laptops. Rooms also had mosquitoes.

Elegance and comfort in a bustling, fascinating city

A beautiful property, elegant and historic. Our room was spacious with a view to the mountains, delightful garden for afternoon tea and view down the valley. Most attentive staff where nothing was a problem, excellent dining room with great breakfasts.

Somewhat comfortable which was marred by the functions going on in and around the Hotel.

location, maintenance and staff.

It is close to a stadium which often becomes a reason for disturbance. There was a marriage ceremony going on at the property during my stay. They were playing full blast blaring music right below my window in the lawn of the Hotel. This was maddening and the Hotel should impose some restrictions on such activities. They should inform the guests in advance so that they have an option to cancel their bookings.

Nice period property to stay with in walk able distance to main city streets.

Breakfast was good especially the South Indian Dishes and egg preparations. Selection of the dinner menu was also good, I specially liked the fish and pasta. We liked that Breakfast and tea is served in an English Colonial Style using period table wares and crockery. We appreciate the attentiveness and guest friendly behaviour of F&B Manager Mr. Sudip Ji . Welcoming and attentive staff.

A hidden gem in the midst of the city

A property that is truly a summer palace, with old world charm oozing from every corner. The staff is very helpful and courteous and took good care of us.

the location of this heritage hotel is the best thing about it

the location, the view towards the hills from the garden and the dog they have as a pet….

it is decent but it is a bit old school style hotel management

Good location and view but can do without the bedbugs

Good location, heritage property, excellent view from room and garden. Breakfast spread was comprehensive. Staff was well trained and helpful.

Room had bedbugs and I woke up with my arms all swollen and red. Not expected from a property of this caliber. It was not just in my room, another guest I met at breakfast had same issue.
